Analysis of Unitemized Contributions of $259 Million

$259 Million Unitemized Donor Listings From FEC Reports

This FEC Complaint was initiated in 2008 and the Obama Campaign has been doing nothing but juggling the books.

The mysterious $259 million remains UNITEMIZED.

The Analysis of Unitemized Contributions of $259 Million demonstrates how only about $40 million of the $259 million probably came from unitemized donors under the reporting limit.  The campaign actually itemized many of their contributions from under limit donors.

The donor records submitted to the FEC from the Obama Campaign are full of errors and omissions.  Initial estimates during the presidential campaign were approximately 15% as inaccurately reported.  The campaign has issued multiple revisions to the FEC reports submitted during the campaign but a high error rate still exists.  The members of the PAC supporting this project reviewed and cross referenced records to bring the error rate in the 2009 database to less than 1% as the basis for the complaints to the FEC.

The database continues to be reviewed and made more accurate.  The release of the finalized donor cross reference is planned for January 1,  2012.  There will also be a final revision to the over limit lists.
